Vocab Lesson 6

-accusation - noun - a claim that someone is guilty of something

-acceleration - noun - an increase in speed

-subtle (do not pronounce the b) - adjective - barely perceptible, lacking in clarity or brightness or loudness. Example: The smile on Mona Lisa's face is subtle.

-instinct

-bored - adjective - uninterested

-board - noun- there are many meanings here and I don't care which one you use: it can be like a school board, like a whiteboard, or just a plank of wood. Just make sure you know how to spell "bored" and "board" and the different definitions

-obscure - adjective meaning not clearly understood or expressed, or a verb meaning to make unclear. For example: Even though Mrs. Merrill tried to explain how to access Engrade, her description was obscure. Example of obscure as a verb: The rain on the windshield did obscure her vision.

-temporary

-excited

(I'm missing a word - I think I left it in my classroom! I will post it on Monday.)
